The project sequence
From the first photos to the final cabinet adjustments.
This is the general sequence. Your written scope should identify the service, included work, materials, and project-specific timing.

Send photos and project details
Include wide views, close-ups, your city, the service you are considering, visible damage, and any finish or hardware ideas.

Carlos reviews the existing cabinets
He looks at the material, construction, wear, layout, doors, drawers, hinges, slides, and areas that may need repair.

Confirm the scope
Measurements or an on-site review may be needed. The work, selections, exclusions, access, and expected timing should be settled before the project begins.

Prepare and complete the cabinet work
Protection, removal, repairs, surface work, fabrication, coating, or installation will depend on the approved service.

Reinstall, adjust, and review care
Applicable doors, drawer fronts, and hardware are installed or adjusted, details are reviewed, and Carlos explains care for the completed work.
Getting the room ready
Carlos will tell you what needs to move before work starts.
The preparation depends on the cabinet service and which surfaces need access. Do not empty or dismantle everything unless it is part of the agreed instructions.
- Confirm access, parking, work hours, and how Carlos should enter the home
- Move items Carlos identifies from counters, nearby walls, or cabinet interiors
- Plan for pets and children to stay away from tools, materials, and protected work areas
- Set aside selected knobs, pulls, hinges, or other customer-provided items
- Ask about appliances, sinks, lighting, or other nearby features before disconnecting anything
While work is happening
Expect some limits around the active cabinet area.
Access and protection
Parts of the room may be covered or unavailable while surfaces, cabinet openings, floors, counters, and nearby areas are protected.
Tools, sound, and work space
Repair, preparation, removal, installation, and adjustment can involve tools and temporary work zones. Ask where those areas will be.
Drying and cure time
A painted finish can continue curing after reinstallation. Follow Carlos’s care instructions and treat doors and drawers gently during that period.
